We'd like you to meet some of our key staff that stand ready to meet your every need:
Mark Lee is the Chairman and Owner of Aero-Mark LLC, which currently owns CAS (Certified Aviation Services). Mr. Lee has owned operating companies with a primary emphasis in the aerospace industry over the past 25 years.
Mr. Lee has other holdings in real estate, restaurants, energy as well as an investment portfolio. Prior to owning his own businesses Mr. Lee was President and CEO of American Pacific Corporation and was instrumental in its creation through several acquisitions. Before entering the aerospace business Mr. Lee was involved in international business and real estate.
Mr. Lee accomplished his undergrad degree from UCLA and his MBA degree from Stanford University. Mr. Lee also holds a CPA certificate.
Brad has been in and around aviation his entire career. He is a graduate of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University with a BS in Professional Aeronautics. Brad is an FAA certified A&P mechanic and an instrument rated pilot. Brad began his career in the USAF as an F-16 Crew Chief, serving from 1985 to 1991. Later, he gained experience in the aviation industry while working for Delta Air Lines in Aircraft Maintenance, Engineering and Flight Operations.
Since 2010 Brad has been the President/COO of Aero-mark LLC. He has been instrumental in acquisition and management of all Aero-mark entities with specific focus on restructuring, turn around and P&L management of the operating companies. In 2012 Brad took over the role of President of CAS LLC bringing him back to his maintenance roots.
Mr. Stafford brings over 27 years of aviation experience with major legacy airlines such as Miami Air, DYNAIR, Leisure Air and Continental Airlines. Mr. Stafford joins CAS from his most recent position at United Airlines where he held the title of Western Region Manager of MRO Sales. Before Regional Manager of MRO sales, Mr. Stafford also held several different tittles at UAL such as Line Maintenance Manager, Operating Manager, and Interim Area Manager.
Mr. Stafford holds a degree from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University with a BS in Professional Aeronautics. As well holds an FCC General License and Airframe and Powerplant License.
Mr. Turpin has an extensive background in Aircraft Field Repair, bringing more than 25 years’ experience with international and domestic operators. Mr. Turpin has experience that includes previous maintenance management positions, such as Senior Project Manager for Source One Aircraft Repair, and Maintenance Manager for both Polar Air Cargo and World Airways. He also served on McDonnell Douglas’ (RAMS) Recovery and Modification Services team.
Mr. Turpin was the general manager of Certified Aviation Services. In this role, Mr. Turpin oversaw day to day operations of the companies eleven Line maintenance stations and AOG Go-Team projects. Subsequently, Mr. Turpin was promoted to General Manager of Recovery, Repair and Modification segments of April 2016. Now Mr. Turpin is able to put his full time and attention to the AOG Go-Team operations.
Mr. Scanlon brings over 30 years of aviation experience as co-founder of Certified Aviation Service (CAS) in 1990. Mr. Scanlon has been involved in all aspects of developing CAS to become one of the largest independent 3rd party line maintenance providers in the United States.
Mr. Scanlon holds a degree from California State University, Los Angeles with a BS in Business Administration with an emphasis in Aviation Management. As well holds an Airframe and Powerplant License and a Private Pilot License.
