Terms and Conditions of Providers / Suppliers

 

Providers/Suppliers to Certified Aviation Services, LLC (CAS), shall abide to the following:

Ø  Invoicing against any PO deems acceptance of these Terms and Conditions

Ø  The processes, products, and services to be provided including the identification of relevant technical data (e.g., specifications, drawings, process requirements, work instructions and or 8130)

Ø  The approval of:

o  Products and services

o  Methods, processes, equipment

o  The release of products and services

Ø  Competence including any required qualification / certification of persons

Ø  The external providers' interactions with CAS

Ø  Control and monitoring of the external providers' performance to be applied by CAS

Ø  Verification or validation activities that CAS or its customer intends to perform at the external providers' premises

Ø  Design and development control if applicable

Ø  Special requirements, critical items, or key characteristics

Ø  Tests, inspections, and verification (including production process verification):

o  The use of statistical techniques for product acceptance and related instructions for acceptance by CAS need to:

§  Implement a quality management system such as ISO 9000, AS9100 and or other standard as applicable to suppliers’ type of business

§  Use customer-designated or approved external providers, including process sources (e.g., special processes)

§  Notify CAS of nonconforming processes, products, or services and obtain approval for any disposition

§  Prevent the use of counterfeit parts/unapproved parts

§  Notify CAS of changes, processes, products, or services, including changes of their external providers or location of manufacturer, and obtain CAS approval

§  Flow down to external providers applicable requirements including customer requirements

§  Provide test specimens for design approval, inspection/verification, investigation, or auditing

§  Retain documented information including, retention periods and disposition requirements

§  The right of access by the customer, and regulatory authorities to the applicable areas of facilities and to applicable documented information, at any level of the supply chain

Ø  Ensuring that persons are aware of:

§  Their contribution to product or service conformity

§  Their contribution to product safety

§  The importance of ethical behavior

§  Specific authority and customer requirements

§  Format and content of the external providers delivery documentation package

§  Condition under which product malfunction, defects, and unairworthy conditions have to be reported to the concerned stakeholders
